Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef in leading and managing the kitchen team, including hiring, training, and scheduling
- Create and execute seasonal menus that showcase creativity and culinary expertise
- Ensure high standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation
- Oversee inventory management, ordering, and cost control to maximize profitability
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with management to develop promotional events and special menus
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques and ingredients into menu offerings
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume, upscale restaurant / Hotel
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple menus
- Creative flair and passion for culinary excellence
- Knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety standards, and sanitation guidelines
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Salary
