Job Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Dietitian to join Hywel Dda's Paediatric Diabetes Team in its mission to improve and empower children and young people living with diabetes. This permanent, part time position (18.75 hours/week) would suit a highly motivated Dietitian with knowledge and experience of diabetes and/or paediatric dietetics.
Our dynamic, innovative, and supportive team are looking forward to welcoming a new colleague to help us deliver value-based care through structured education. In addition to core responsibilities, there will be opportunities to contribute to wider service development, specialist projects, and collaborative initiatives across the Health Board. This means you will not only gain experience in paediatric diabetes but also broaden your skills by engaging with other dietetic services and multidisciplinary teams.
If you are interested in this post but would like additional hours/seeking experience in other areas of dietetics, we would be very happy to discuss potential opportunities within the department.
We are flexible in how the 18.75 hours are worked and can discuss this with you. Please feel free to contact Steph Griffiths for an informal conversation.
