- Support the effective underwriting of credit for new customers
- Develop, monitor and implement credit strategies to maintain risk performance within set thresholds
- Enhance reporting capabilities to ensure timely identification of emerging trends
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to promote teamwork and knowledge sharing
Your skills and Experience
- University degree level or equivalent experience with a highly numerate and analytical background.
- Proficient use of SQL for data analysis
- Strong ability to drive insights, identify and understand trends, and communicate findings clearly
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
- A proactive attitude, creativity, and a drive to succeed
- Experience within financial services, with and understanding of the consumer credit sector and related products, and a foundation in risk analytics
- Development of credit risk strategies, including implementation of policies and controls governing new customer lending
- Familiarity with visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Proficiency in Python for data analysis
- A working understanding of decision systems such as Provenir
