A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Children and Young People's Physiotherapy Service as a rotational Specialist Paediatric Physiotherapist. Our rotations allow for a vast and varied experience in paediatrics within community, acute and specialist services across Cardiff and the Vale. The service has a well-established training programme for staff with clear development plans to support career progression across both acute, community and specialist services.

The post holder will work as an autonomous practitioner and will have relevant post registration experience for the role and will undertake clinical duties as required within a defined specialist clinical area.

The successful candidate will work alongside members of the multidisciplinary team to deliver physiotherapy services to children and young people.

We are seeking dynamic and motivated individuals to join the Children and Young Peoples Physiotherapy Service within Cardiff & Vale UHB as a Specialist Paediatric Physiotherapist to be based as various locations across the community, children centres, special educational needs schools and the Noah's Ark Children's Hospital for Wales.

The successful candidate will work alongside other members of physiotherapy service and the wider Multi-disciplinary Teams and providing services across Cardiff and the Vale.

The service has a well-established training programme for staff. There will be an expectation for candidates to participate in the paediatric physiotherapy on call / emergency duty rota/extended hours at the Noah's Ark Children's Hospital for Wales.

The post holder will be flexible in the approach to the clinical area and provide cover for any area specified. They may be required to work their normal contracted hours flexibly, in a variety of different working patterns, in response to the needs of the service where they are placed. For example, this could include working their contracted hours as part of a 7-day job plan or working their hours over a pattern that includes extended days and unsocial hours. The post holder will also participate in the emergency duty, on-call and Bank Holiday service as required for the role.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
