About The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, highly motivated Specialist Pharmacy Technician to work alongside the existing Specialist Pharmacy Technician in Pinderfields inpatient Pharmacy. You will be responsible for the line management of staff and managing the daily workflow of the Dispensary.
You must have a positive attitude, good interpersonal skills and have the ability to motivate others. You will need to adapt to the changing demands of a fast paced service ensuring a high quality pharmacy service is provided to patients.

Main duties
Working with the existing Specialist Pharmacy Technician in the in-patient pharmacy, the successful post holder will manage a hard working, competent and diverse team of Pharmacy Technicians, Higher Level Support Workers and Pharmacy Co-ordinators.
The main duties included; effectively running the dispensary service and prescription workflow, appraisals and performance reviews, stock management, investigating and responding to errors and incidents, improvement projects, creating rotas, training and coordinating staff, providing leadership and support for staff, compiling prescription tracker system reports, interviewing and hiring, implementing service changes.
Key Requirements
The post holder will have a genuine passion for developing the dispensary service and supporting the dispensary team.
We are looking for an experienced GPHC registered Pharmacy Technician who would like to begin a new chapter in their career. The successful candidate must have extensive experience within a dispensary environment including, but not limited to; accuracy checking, training of others, stock control and medicines management.
