An opportunity has arisen for a band 6 physiotherapist to join our South Kirklees Orthopaedic and Frailty team Locala community rehabilitation service provides high quality care to patients in their own homes, community rehabilitation facilities and care homes. We are patient centred and holistic in our approach and work with patients to maximise their independence.
The role requires a motivated and dynamic person to work within an established service, and it is essential that you can work as part of a multidisciplinary team. Experience of treating patients with falls, frailty and orthopaedic conditions is essential. There are opportunities for training within the team. Good communication skills and team working are essential qualities.
This is a community-based role so being a driver with access to a vehicle for business use is an essential requirement for the role.
We would consider a development role for a Band 5 clinician to progress knowledge and skills whilst in post through completion of a competency framework. Suitable applicants need to have postgraduate experience of working with patient with falls, frailty and orthopaedic conditions and have some community experience.
Applicants need to be HCPC registered with the right to work in the UK
