Band 6 Physiotherapist In Outpatient Neurorehabilitation
We are looking to recruit an empowered, driven and enthusiastic physiotherapists with a desire to progress their career in neurological rehabilitation.
OCE is a level 1A neurorehabilitation and disability management Centre which has a long held reputation for clinical excellence in this field. The physiotherapy team at OCE work within the MDT to provide a high standard of neurorehabilitation.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Outpatient Physiotherapy team. We offer a very supportive and innovative environment, enabling you to develop your knowledge and skills in Neuro-rehabilitation. You will be working alongside an experienced team with skills in all areas of neuro rehab including FND, FES, Upper Limb rehab and Vestibular Rehabilitation.
The service is undergoing exciting transformation, seeking to work collaboratively, whilst striving for evidenced based practice and increasing intensity of therapy intervention through new initiatives. There will be an opportunity to not only develop your clinical skills, both technical and critical thinking, but also those in leadership and service improvement.
We support applications for study leave and funding for individuals to complete CPD activities such as attending annual neuro-related conferences, appropriate courses and training programmes.

- To work as part of the Oxford Centre for Enablement (OCE) Multidisciplinary Team to ensure the provision of a high quality therapy service to individuals requiring neurological rehabilitation.
- To deliver specialist assessment, planning and rehabilitation to a complex clinical caseload of patients who present with neurological impairments, supporting other clinical and non-clinical staff in the delivery of agreed plans. Your clinical caseload will sit predominantly in the outpatient service but you may be expected to contribute to other services within the OCE as required.
- To maintain clinical records in line with Trust and professional standards.
- To contribute to induction processes, clinical supervision and teaching within the physiotherapy team and broader MDT.
- To act as a clinical educator for pre-registration physiotherapy students.
- To work within the OCE multidisciplinary team and liaise with relevant professionals in the acute and community sectors.
- To contribute to service development projects, audit and research within the OCE.
