Are you enthusiastic about pelvic health physiotherapy? Do you want to work in a modern therapy department, which strives to improve and work dynamically? If so, we are looking to recruit a Specialist Pelvic Health Physiotherapist to join the outpatient team in the RUH Adult Therapies Department.
The applicant will need to provide excellent, evidence based patient care to a wide and varied pelvic health caseload. They will also need to demonstrate excellent communications skills and be flexible to be able to meet the complex demands of the service.
The successful candidate will be involved in the supervision and teaching of Band 5 Physiotherapy staff, Therapy Assistants and Physiotherapy students.
The department has a positive approach to continuing professional development. Training will be provided by the existing team with many opportunities for learning and development
- To provide a high quality Physiotherapy service in the Pelvic Health Physiotherapy Outpatients Department.
- To perform advanced Physiotherapeutic assessment, diagnosis and treatment of pelvic health patients who may have diverse presentations and complex physical and psychological conditions.
- To undertake all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner, hold responsibility for own caseload and be responsible for a defined area of the service or a particular patient type.
