This role internally is known as a PSS Specialist
This is an exciting opportunity to join a national team of Specialists dedicated to supporting staff across the St. James’s Place Partnership.
You will be offered the autonomy to be creative, analytical, and accountable as you contribute to the delivery and implementation of targeted initiatives and projects that drive improvement and efficiency.
As part of the broader Partnership Support team, you will work collaboratively to enable the field management team and the wider Partnership to achieve excellent client outcomes.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting the Partnership Support Specialist Team in the delivery of all business objectives. Working independently and with a large degree of autonomy.
- Ownership of key processes and deliverables including the organisation and delivery of Area and National events.
- Inputs into policy and process improvement, suggesting and implementing improvements and solutions to enhance the proposition for the Partnership Support Specialists working within the practices e.g. administrators, marketeers, Paraplanners and Practice Managers.
- The ability to effectively consult with the individuals in a Practice.
- Co-ordination of resource requests for support nationally.
- Stakeholder management with Partner Services ensuring a joined-up approach and the relevant delivery of content.
- Supports broader projects and activity within the wider Partnership Support business unit.
Who are we looking for: Experience of delivering workstreams/projects
- Managing the unexpected, with the ability to adapt
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Willingness to be involved in areas not directly related to the day job
Specialist knowledge
- Experience or knowledge of financial services would be preferable
- Aptitude to learn new software/systems
- Keen to learn new skills
Business Expertise:
- Substantial administration and operational management experience with the ability to manage and prioritise several tasks at once is fundamental.
- Microsoft Office – Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, with the ability to create materials. Proficiency in Zoom.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate with people at all levels.
Problem Solving:
- Ability to remain calm and level-headed, pragmatic in approach when providing expertise.
- Identify and challenge resourcing issues.
- Identify solutions to operational problems including workflow issues.
- Take personal responsibility to deliver solutions..
