This role involves delivering specialist assessments and interventions for adults with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders within a community setting. The postholder will work autonomously and collaboratively across GP practices, care homes, and within patients' homes. Responsibilities include differential diagnosis, treatment planning, discharge, and support for junior staff. You will also participate in service development, training delivery, and quality improvement initiatives.

Welsh Skills Desirable: This post is advertised as Welsh Desirable. This means Speaking & Listening at Level 3 (equivalent to CEFR B2). We don’t need fluency. Level 3 means basic conversations with patients about their everyday health. For more information, see the ‘Croeso Candidate’ booklet below.
