Specialist Speech and Language Therapist - Children and Young People

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our highly supportive, friendly, and forward- thinking Speech Therapy team.

We are seeking an experienced speech and language therapist eager to develop skills working with a varied paediatric caseload in community settings across Bury.

As a Specialist Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist you will be responsible for supporting your manager in ensuring that our service users speech, language and communication needs are met through the delivery of high-quality person-centred care. You will be provided with robust supervision and personal development opportunities in your clinical specialism.

Maintain high standard of clinical work when carrying out specialist assessment/intervention for children with speech, language, communication disorders, manage own caseload independently.

Develop and provide enhanced knowledge and skills in evidence based practice in own clinical specialism, provide specialist advice / training to other professionals and Carers.

Ensure compliance with clinical governance framework, demonstrate knowledge of / adherence to professional, national and local clinical guidelines, policies and procedures.

Compliance with continuous professional development to maintain registration with RCSLT and HCPC, identify personal learning and development objectives through line management and performance review framework, access clinical and safeguarding supervision in compliance with l

ocal policy.

Champion service user experience, contribute to continuous improvement within the team.
