We are looking for an enthusiastic Specialty Doctor with a minimum of 4 years post graduate experience in acute and/or general internal medicine to join our teams in delivering high-quality senior level care to acutely unwell patients in our outlier areas.
Weekly timetable will be discussed and agreed with the appointee.
Clinical Duties
Specialty doctors provide routine medical and psychiatric support, including initial assessments, mental state examinations, and managing inpatients under consultant supervision.
They are responsible for carrying out investigations, making diagnoses, and implementing treatment plans, including preparing discharge summaries.
They communicate effectively with patients, relatives, staff, and other stakeholders, maintaining appropriate records and reports.
Service And Professional Activities
They contribute to service delivery and improvement, including attending multidisciplinary meetings and participating in audit activities.

The MECS collaborative is made up of Acute, Respiratory, Infectious Diseases, Older Persons Medicine, Diabetes and Endocrinology and Emergency medicine specialties.
