Specialty Doctor – General Adult Psychiatry

Location: Cavendish House, Hastings

Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

Contract: Fixed Term – 1 year

Salary: £Specialty Doctor – General Adult Psychiatry per annum

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Specialty Doctor to join the Assessment and Treatment Service (ATS) in Hastings and Rother. You will be working within a supportive multidisciplinary team that provides high quality community mental health services to adults.

Key aspects of the role include:

• Completing new assessments, including formulation, diagnosis and risk management

• Developing and reviewing care and treatment plans

• Providing clinical leadership within the ATS, including supervision of junior medical staff

• Liaising with primary care and offering advice and guidance

• Supporting service development and quality improvement
