Description
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join the Sheffield Speech and Language Therapy (SLT) Service working within the acute ward team. It is an exciting environment, working within a supportive and very friendly SLT team. The post available is for 37.5 hours per week on a permanent contract.
The successful candidate will be based in the Sheffield Teaching Hospitals SLT service working as members of the team providing SLT to the acute wards across three hospitals, the Northern General, the Royal Hallamshire and Weston Park .
They will provide clinical Speech & Language Therapy to a defined specialised caseload as part of the SLT team.
To provide clinical speech and language therapy services to a defined specialised caseload of adult patients as part of the acute ward SLT team.
To specialise in the assessment and management of communication disorders and dysphagia.
