You will join a team managing the lifecycle of infrastructure and security, enhancing IBM’s cloud solutions to ensure enterprises achieve efficiency, security, and scalability in their cloud journey.
Your Role And Responsibilities
- Build compelling presentations, demos, technical blogs, and sample solutions showcasing HashiCorp products.
- Prototype technical integrations between HashiCorp products and the broader ecosystem.
- Actively engage and support the developer community through events like conferences, meetups, and hackathons.
- Represent practitioner needs internally by providing feedback on bugs, creating feature requests, and documenting product friction and potential features in support of improving product.
- Maintain a strong social media presence and credibility in channels relevant to developers and operators.
- Define, encourage, and drive adoption of HashiCorp tools within the community.
- Engage as a technical spokesperson for HashiCorp as requested.
- Support peers and community members as needed through code reviews, pairing, and collaborative development -modeling a high standard for team practices.
- Communicate project status, issues, and milestones clearly to teams and stakeholders.
- Act as a mentor and resource for junior advocates and engineers, sharing technical knowledge and process guidance.
- Contribute to product vision discussions and suggest improvements for user experience, design, and documentation.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise
- Experience with Terraform or another Infrastructure as Code tool..
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in Engineering, DevOps, or a related technical field.
- Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to engage developers and engineers.
- Hands-on experience writing code and contributing to or managing open-source projects.
- Familiarity with infrastructure management concepts and operations lifecycle.
- Strong customer focus, ownership, initiative, and drive.
- Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment within established practices.
- Eagerness to travel for conferences, community events, and meetups as needed.
