Description
Amazon’s Tax Engine organization is building the next generation of solutions to shape the way that we calculate, collect and invoice tax information as one of the world’s largest collectors of online indirect taxes and fees. The Tax Engine organization’s mission is to ensure that Amazon has the right technology and processes to remain accurate and adaptable in a rapidly changing business and tax environment.
That’s where you come in. We’re looking for a Sr. UX Designer to join us in London and help build the future of Tax Engine’s document printing product, which is responsible for generating billions of business-critical documents (e.g. tax invoices, commercial and transport documents) every year. You will join a team that is in the initial phase of the product lifecycle and have the opportunity to create a new customer experience from the ground up for a portfolio of new internal products.
As a Sr. UX Designer, you will be responsible for relentlessly advocating for best-in-class CX for our product. The role will involve close partnership with product and software engineering teams, and partner teams to drive customer-focused innovation for a product that is used extensively within Amazon to serve millions of customers around the world. You will collaborate with other designers and researchers to generate innovative ideas and simplify the experience for users to onboard and manage their business through our document printing product. As we are in the early phases of our product lifecycle, you should be comfortable working in an environment of significant ambiguity, using your design expertise to create data-informed design solutions.
This is a great opportunity for a highly motivated person interested in taking a leadership role in setting the design direction for the internal web applications that are needed by users of our brand new suite of products. As the Sr. UX Designer in this role, you will have a significant impact on the user experience touching nearly every Amazon line of business.
