We are currently looking for dynamic and motivated experienced Band 5 Nurses to join our friendly and dedicated team of nurses.
The Division of Medicine hosts 8 inpatient wards and has currently entered an exciting era.
Tayberry Ward is a 26 bedded COE ward
Our aim is to always provide compassionate, safe patient focused care.
The division is supported by a dedicated Band 7 Team, PDN team, 2 Matrons and 3 Senior Nurses
The successful candidate will provide the highest standard of individualised and holistic patient care, in conjunction with the interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary teams. The post holder will work within the NMC Code, trust policies, guidance, and procedures to ensure safe working practice.
You will be supported in your professional development by our dedicated team of PDN’s. There are opportunities to develop specialist skills with both on the job training and external courses.
As well as your professional development we also have a newly created Well-being space, outside areas including designated garden areas as well as fitness classes including a running group.
The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of a consistently high standard of care to meet needs of care of the elderly patients on a 26 Bedded ward. The post holder must demonstrate clinical expertise in assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of care using a holistic approach. The post holder must possess fundamental management and facilitation skills to co-ordinate activities and promote multi-disciplinary working and foster a supportive, learning environment. As a Registered Nurse the post holder is expected to consistently act in accordance with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct.
