An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a friendly, forward-thinking team in a 9-month fixed-term role covering maternity leave on Ward 23 and the Cardiac Intervention Unit (CIU) .
Ward 23 is a unique Cardiology inpatient ward with 19 beds, caring for patients following acute cardiac events and those undergoing continued investigation and treatment. We also have four side rooms offering private cardiac care.
As part of this role, youll also have the opportunity to rotate into the Cardiac Intervention Unit (CIU) a day-case elective unit managing up to 16 patients pre- and post-procedures, including angiograms, pacemaker insertions, and cardiac ablations.
No two days are the same, and youll benefit from strong links with the wider cardiology services, including specialist nurses and the research team.
We are seeking dynamic, motivated, and compassionate nurses with a genuine interest in cardiology. Youll be committed to delivering the highest standards of patient-centred care and keen to develop your clinical skills in a supportive and progressive environment.
