Ward 8C is currently recruiting for Registered staff nurses who are looking for a new opportunity to work in an organisation that will help to develop you to achieve your goals to become the best you can be in delivering safe and patient focused care.
We are a 20 bedded ward caring for women undergoing complex oncology surgery, medical and surgical management of miscarriage and termination of pregnancy.
As a band 5 staff nurse, you would be working alongside a supportive and committed multi-disciplinary team. There will be opportunities for you to develop and expand within your role.
You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a genuine enthusiasm in caring for women undergoing all aspects of gynaecological and gynaecological oncology care. This post would include supervision of junior members of the team.
To provide effective family centred nursing care to patients and their families. Ensure that evidence based practice is performed at all times, taking responsibility for updating own knowledge and skill in line with Trust policies and procedures and NMC Code .
For newly qualified Band 5 nurses, it will be an important step in consolidating practice and completing all relevant clinical competencies, receiving adequate support form colleagues.
