An exciting opportunity has arisen for part time Band 5 Staff Nurse post within the supportive Gynaecology Outpatients Department at St Richard’s Hospital. This outpatient area is looking for an enthusiastic nurse who is passionate about delivering efficient and holistic patient care to patients in an ambulatory setting. The role will involve supporting patients and clinicians in Hysteroscopy and Colposcopy clinics as well as General Gynaecology, Rapid Access (two-week rule suspected cancer) and Early Pregnancy.
The successful candidate will have a keen interest in expanding their knowledge and understanding of gynaecological conditions. They will be supported by a team of clinicians, nurses, nursing associates and healthcare assistants to help ensure that patients receive the highest quality care possible.
Candidates will need to demonstrate a holistic, adaptable and caring approach to their work and be highly effective communicators with an ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
The team will support you to gain and enhance skills within the service.
We welcome applications from those who currently hold a UK NMC registration. If you currently hold an overseas nursing qualification and require sponsorship we are not currently direct hiring Internationally Qualified Nurses.
To provide a high standard of nursing care and assist with the assessment and delivery of care, ensuring that all interactions with patients and staff are appropriate and of the highest quality.
Demonstrate exemplary communication and customer relation skills; positively promoting and influencing staff attitudes, knowledge and behaviour in line with the Trust Vision ‘We Care’. Assist and support with the smooth running of Early Pregnancy, Hysteroscopy, Minor Procedure, Colposcopy, Rapid Access and General Gynaecology Outpatient clinics; including regularly taking charge of the clinic.
