We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Staff Nurse to support the peripatetic team. You will be required to confidently support the team. You will focus on engaging with colleagues, adapting and being flexible to the complex nature of Ward 21, where nursing standards could even made better. This role covers long days, nights and weekends.
Ward 21 operates as a peripatetic team, where staff are required to work flexibly across various departments within the trust based on operational needs. You will be fully supported during your transition with supernumerary status and additional training tailored to meet the requirements of each specific clinical area to make the individual confident and prepared to deliver safe and high quality care across all assigned areas.
- The post holder is responsible for the assessment of care needs and the development implementation and evaluation of programmes of care.
- Ensure that agreed standards of nursing practice within the ward/department area are maintained.
- Ensure that all Trust, Divisional, and Ward/Department Health & Safety Policies are adhered to.
- To be a team player supporting patients and the team.
- To have a holistic approach to the delivery of nursing care.
