We are looking for an organised, analytical professional to join our resource management department:
Resource Utilisation Forecasting
- Running the centralised process for quantitative forecasting of business utilisation for an industry sector
- Providing input into the centralised cross-sector utilisation reporting
Business Partnering – Resource Management
- Building relationships with BU leadership to support resource management decisions and the within-BU resourcing process
Organising weekly resource management/staffing calls, chairing the calls and follow-up
- Helping BU, sector, and company leadership understanding utilisation forecasts, potential impacts and implications, and alternative demand sources
- Supporting BU staffing leads and BU exec to find demand for unassigned resources during periods of lower BU demand and identifying additional resource pools from other BUs or external parties during periods of increased BU demand.
- Engaging with other resource management business partners to obtain a company-wide view on supply and demand, enabling support to be provided to ensure optimal resource assignment across the company.
Resource Clearing
- Support the BU and Sector leadership teams to facilitate staffing of people across BUs, and across sectors in order to maximise utilisation
- Identify potential future peaks or troughs in demand based on utilisation forecasts and historic profiles at the BU and industry sector level to support in-advance resource utilisation management
- Support BU staffing leads identify resources without potential demand in advance of availability, engaging at the cross-BU and cross-Sector levels early to minimise or eliminate non-utilised time.
So what are we looking for?
We recruit individuals at all levels based on merit. Some of the key sills we are looking for:
- Experience within a professional services/management consultancy environment
- Experience of developing or streamlining processes and tools
- Experience and knowledge of using Microsoft Excel and ability to interpret, enhance and optimise MI reporting conducted via multiple excel spreadsheets
- Experience of Microsoft PowerPoint to prepare relevant MI to be presented to sector leadership teams
- Ability to research, analyse and present information with a high level of attention to detail
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- Able to prioritise, respond efficiently and effectively and plan ahead
