Theatre Projects (TP) is a world-leading theatre design consultancy with a global team of more than 60 experts in theatre design, planning, technology, operations, and acoustics. We work with architects and builders to design and deliver performing arts venues all over the world. Since our start in 1957, we’ve worked on more than 1,600 projects in 80 countries, including some of the world’s most iconic spaces like the National Theatre and The Lowry in the UK, Dubai Opera, Walt Disney Concert Hall, LA, The Esplanade, Singapore and Shanghai Grand Opera House. Our work is both domestic and worldwide and this position may require international travel.
About the Role: Our busy and successful theatre systems team designs audio visual, production lighting and sound and comms systems for venues, as well as advising on the general electrical systems for stage machinery. We need a systems consultant with a production lighting bias, based in our London office, but with flexibility to work from home for three days per week.
We want an enthusiastic individual committed to the long-term development of their skills, with a strong commitment to collaborative working. The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator and be comfortable working with people at all levels. Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills will be required to work within multiple teams, across varying submissions with concurrent deadlines.

Support and training will be provided to those without specific construction industry experience, a high level of production experience in related fields is highly desirable.
Employment details
This is a full time, permanent position for 35 hours a week, based in our London Office. Theatre Projects offers a flexible working scheme based on project demands and recognises the importance of a good work/life balance. We currently offer the opportunity for remote working with 2-3 days in-office time per week.
Salary
£28,000 - £40,000 dependent on experience.
