Our Physiotherapy Department is committed to advancing the role of physiotherapy in respiratory care. The team together covers our Respiratory Ward, Cardiology, Haematology and our Medical Acute Dependency Unit. Although this post mainly focuses on MADU and our Respiratory Ward.

As a senior clinician, you will play a key role in:

• Supervising, educating, and appraising physiotherapists, support staff, and students.
• Leading and contributing to service development, ensuring high-quality patient care and innovation in practice.

Main duties of the job

• Deliver a high-quality physiotherapy service by assessing and treating patients with complex presentations.
• Supervise and mentor newly qualified physiotherapists, technicians, assistants, and students while contributing to the education of multidisciplinary team (MDT) staff.
• Engage in continuous professional development (CPD) and actively participate in departmental activities.
• Take part in the weekend and on-call service as required.
• Weekend working commitments will be determined based on service demands
