Step 2 Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner Supervisor

We have the exciting opportunity for a Step 2 Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner Supervisor to join our Derbyshire Talking Therapies Service!

This is a hybrid role and we would be looking for someone someone based in the Derbyshire / Chesterfield area.

This role will start March 2nd 2026.

About The Role

As a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner Supervisor, you will offer clinical governance and leadership through the provision of regular and robust supervision to Step 2 Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners (PWPs). Supervision will cover clinical and supervision of supervision, underpinned by Roth and Pilling’s competency framework.

You will carry a small clinical caseload, delivering safe, effective and high quality care to clients within the Derbyshire Talking Therapies Service.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical supervision to Step 2 PWPs, maintaining accurate and up-to-date supervision records.
• Audit supervisees' clinical work to ensure quality and adherence to governance standards.
• Collaborate with clinical and operational leads to address performance and training needs.

Strong commitment to clinical excellence, service quality, and continuous improvement

Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within teams

Skilled in managing change, showing resilience and supporting others through transitions

Demonstrates good judgment, time management, and decision-making abilities

Strong IT skills and ability to use relevant systems confidently
