Secondments/Fixed Term Contracts
(Various Shifts Available – AM, PM & Night Shift)
Due to our evolving business needs, we are excited to expand our team with talented individuals on a temporary basis. We are currently seeking candidates for a 6-month Secondment or Fixed-Term Contract, based at our Trafford Park Distribution Centre.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong organizational mindset, demonstrate excellent leadership potential, and show a proactive willingness to develop and learn within a dynamic environment.
A DAY IN THE LIFE
- Develop and apply expertise in SAP and Manhattan Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Conduct regular inventory counts and actively contribute to achieving cycle counting objectives collaboratively with colleagues.
- Ensure the accuracy and compliance of warehouse master data for our product portfolio, aligning with internal picking processes.
- Collaborate effectively with various teams, including Customer Supply Chain, Master Data, Operations, and Co-pack, to minimize delays within the order flow cycle.
- Prioritize stock movements efficiently within the Distribution Center (DC).
- Manage the allocation of pickfaces for all products.
- Resolve queries and handle errors across all operational areas in a timely manner.
- Investigate customer dispute claims promptly and thoroughly.
- Liaise with external vendors providing warehousing services for the division.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to the physical layout of the DC's picking zones.
- Process ‘destructions’ in adherence to business procedures.
- Uphold safety as a top priority, contributing to a secure environment for yourself and others, and actively support the delivery of site-wide Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) objectives.
- Undertake other duties and projects as assigned by the Logistics Organisational Team Manager.
Who You Are
- Experience with using SAP and Manhattan Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and make effective decisions.
- Exceptional attention to detail, crucial for accurately inputting and managing information within our SAP systems.
- Proficiency in IT skills, including confident email communication and proven experience with Microsoft Excel.
- Strong organizational skills, a logical mindset, and the capacity to effectively prioritize tasks and analyse problems.
- A strong sense of ownership and accountability, with a commitment to completing tasks and delivering results, aligning with L'Oréal's core values.
- A keen desire for continuous personal and professional growth, coupled with the ambition to contribute fresh perspectives and enhance team dynamics.
- A solid understanding of L'Oréal's operational procedures and working practices, with an eye for identifying and implementing process improvements.
