Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and organised Stores Operative to join our team within Memento Exclusives. The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of parts and materials, while maintaining accurate stock records using PC-based systems. Previous experience in the motor industry and strong computer skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Receive, check, and book in deliveries of parts and materials
Pick, pack, and dispatch orders accurately and on time
Maintain accurate stock records using computerised stock control systems
Carry out regular stock checks and support stock takes
Identify and report stock discrepancies or damaged goods
Ensure the stores area is kept clean, organised, and safe
Liaise with workshop, sales, and purchasing teams to ensure smooth operations
Handle returns, warranty parts, and supplier queries where required
Follow all health & safety procedures and company policies

Skills & Experience Required

Previous experience as a Stores Operative or similar role

Good PC skills, including experience with stock control systems and Microsoft Office

Experience within the motor or motorcycle industry is essential

Strong understanding of vehicle or motorcycle parts and components

Good attention to detail and organisational skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong communication skills

Physically fit and able to handle manual lifting where required

Desirable (but not essential)

Forklift licence
Experience with ERP or warehouse management systems
Knowledge of Formula One cars or Motorsport
