Role Overview
We are looking for a reliable and well-organised
Stores Person to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of goods in a safe and timely manner, and supporting the day-to-day operations of the stores department.
You must possess a clean manual driving licence and ideally an a B1 counter balance FLT licence.
Hours of Work:40 hrs/wk 7:0016.30 MonThurs (45-min lunch) 7:0012:00 Fri

Responsibilities
Receiving and despatching of stock to/from customers, toolmakers and other suppliers
Issuing and receipt of consumables and non-stock items
Administering electronic records and paperwork in line with procedures
Ensuring the cleanliness, tidiness and safety of the off-site storage units
Supporting the loading and unloading of delivery vehicles at the factory
Controlling the recycling of cardboard waste from the factory using the cardboard bailer and the associated storage and tidiness of the area
Driving Company Vehicles e.g. collection and delivery of materials and packing to/from our off-site storage facility, delivering parts to customers, collecting items from suppliers
Requirements
Stores or warehouse experience
Full clean UK manual driving license
Counterbalance Fork Lift Truck Basic Training accredited license
Ability to work unsupervised and meet set deadlines
Self-starter, self-motivated
Good communication skills
Computer literate i.e. MS Office, knowledge of Sage X3 or similar operating system
Methodical & meticulous individual ensuring operating procedures for the stores are enforced on all levels
Well organized and focused on service delivery and receipt
Flexibility during late / early deliveries.
Ability to work under pressure, prioritize and multitask
