Join Cumberland Council as a Stores Person
We�re looking for a reliable and organised Stores Person to support our Highways operations across Cumbria. In this hands-on role, you�ll help manage depot stores, maintain stock levels, and ensure the safe and efficient handling of plant, materials, and equipment. You�ll play a key part in promoting health, safety, and environmental standards, while keeping our depots clean, secure, and well-run.
Who We�re Looking For
To succeed, you�ll need a full UK driving licence, basic ICT skills, and experience in a stores or materials environment�ideally with knowledge of highways maintenance. You�ll be working across multiple locations, so flexibility and a proactive attitude are essential. This is a great opportunity to join a supportive team and contribute to vital services, including winter maintenance activities like gritting and ploughing.
