We are seeking a commercially driven and relationship-oriented Strategic Account Director to join our team at a pivotal moment of transformation. As we launch a new end-to-end staffing value proposition, you will play a critical role in driving revenue by acquiring new strategic accounts and expanding existing enterprise relationships across key sectors.
This is a high-impact, senior commercial role for someone who combines enterprise sales acumen, consultative account growth skills, and a strategic understanding of how to deliver staffing solutions that solve complex operational challenges.
What You’ll Be Doing:
New Business Development
- Identify, target, and close new strategic accounts with complex staffing needs.
- Build and manage a pipeline of strategic prospects using industry intelligence, networking, and outbound strategies.
- Position and sell our newly launched end-to-end staffing solution — from workforce planning to temporary staffing.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations to shape compelling proposals and tailored solutions that address client pain points.
- Represent the business at relevant industry events and sector-specific forums to build awareness and generate leads.
Strategic Account Management & Expansion
- Own a portfolio of high-value clients, ensuring we build long-term partnerships and are embedded in their workforce planning cycles.
- Drive upsell, cross-sell, and expansion opportunities, aligning client growth with our evolving product and service offering.
- Map stakeholder landscapes, build executive relationships, and act as a strategic advisor to clients on workforce flexibility, cost optimisation, and digital transformation in staffing.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (Operations, Product, Customer Success, Marketing & BI) to ensure solutions are delivered to scope and evolve in tandem with the client's business needs.
- Champion voice-of-the-customer insights internally, shaping product development, delivery improvements, and innovation roadmaps based on direct feedback from strategic accounts.
Commercial & Strategic Leadership
- Own and exceed revenue targets for both new and existing accounts.
- Work cross-functionally to shape our go-to-market and client delivery approach, based on insights from the field.
- Forecast revenue accurately and build pricing strategies that drive margin and customer value.
- Provide feedback on market trends, competitive positioning, and customer needs to inform product and service evolution.
What we're looking for:
- Proven success in B2B and SaaS strategic sales and/or enterprise account management for sophisticated digital products is a must have for this role.
- Experience in account mapping, planning and management for multi-site or complex enterprise accounts with high service expectations is essential.
- Experience in selling staffing, workforce management or HR tech solutions is a strong plus.
- Strong consultative selling skills — ability to uncover client needs, shape solutions, and influence C-level stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to drive net new revenue and grow existing relationships simultaneously.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and excited by the challenge of launching and selling a new proposition in market.
- Data-driven, commercially astute, comfort using CRM pipeline tools and customer-obsessed.
