Role Description
We have an exciting opportunity to join the Indirect Supply Management department as a Supplier Relationship Manager, with a focus on leading the development and delivery of strategic supplier management across our Indirect Services portfolio including Marketing, Data, and HR / Professional Services.
The purpose of this role is Owning Strategic Business Services as a category: treating it as a unified, forward-looking area of focus. Shaping and overseeing delivery of supplier strategies: ensuring we’re proactively identifying opportunities, enhancing how we manage suppliers long-term, and aligning category direction with business goals. to shape and implement a forward-looking SRM treatment strategy for these categories, delivering improved supplier performance, unlocking in-contract value, and driving collaborative partnerships that support innovation, resilience, and strategic business goals. Driving execution of strategic initiatives: surfacing and steering initiatives that may not be on the radar yet—unlocking unrealised value, enhancing supplier collaboration, and addressing under-engaged stakeholder groups This role will play a key part in enhancing stakeholder engagement, building strong supplier governance, and creating additional areas of scope, influence and value across the category. This role provides a category-level lens, helping to drive cohesion, alignment and visibility across your areas
As a senior member of the Indirect Supplier Management function, you will be a key point of contact for Director and Executive-level stakeholders across the business, working collaboratively with senior category managers to ensure key SRM principles are delivered, embedded and rolled out across the business.

Salary Information
Pay is based on relevant experience, skills for the role, and location. Salary is only one part of our total reward package.

About You
- Manage the continual development of SRM treatment strategies across Marketing, Data, HR & PS ensuring alignment with business objectives and departmental goals.
- Embed a culture of structured supplier treatment across the business, acting as a visible champion and strategic partner to executive stakeholders and category leads.
- Identify and accelerate in-contract value opportunities, including performance improvement, innovation, risk reduction, and sustainability initiatives.
- Develop long-term, strategic supplier partnerships, ensuring suppliers deliver not just contractual obligations but contribute to business growth, innovation, efficiency and value add principles.
- Work with Procurement colleagues and category teams to identify and drive forward new areas of influence and category scope, enhancing supplier management value contribution through implementing category planning initiatives and market research.
- Actively engage with the external marketplace to understand supplier positioning through horizon scanning, industry events and conferences, competitor analysis and new products entering the market.
- Creation and maintenance of supplier development plans in line with global strategy.
- Advise and influence global strategy in line with supplier performance and continual improvement.
- Oversee robust supplier governance frameworks, including the design and delivery of structured review cycles, escalation protocols, and performance dashboards.
- Collaborate with internal business units to ensure supplier relationships are aligned with evolving business needs, and support strategic planning, digital transformation, and ESG objectives.
- Proactively mitigate material supply chain risk, ensuring compliance with Procurement governance, TPRM, and internal control standards.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to drive continuous improvement across supplier performance, data accuracy, process efficiency, and service optimisation.
- Track and report value delivery, including in-contract savings, cost avoidance, risk mitigation outcomes, and supplier-led innovations, feeding insights into wider department reporting.
Essential Skills
- Previous experience in supplier relationship management, desirable across Indirect categories such as Marketing, Data, or Business Services.
- Proven ability to build effective, senior-level stakeholder relationships, acting as a trusted business partner to Directors and Executives.
- Demonstrated success in driving in-contract value, improving supplier performance, and building strategic supplier partnerships.
- Excellent knowledge of procurement processes, SRM frameworks, and contract lifecycle management.
- Excellent commercial acumen with the ability to analyse complex supplier arrangements and influence decision-making.
- Highly developed negotiation, influencing, and communication skills, with a collaborative and solution-oriented mindset.
- Experience in setting up and leading supplier governance processes, including structured reviews and KPI frameworks.
- Track record of working in a complex, changing environment, with the ability to deliver both strategic and operational outcomes.
- A forward-thinking approach with the ability to spot opportunities, drive change, and contribute to transformation initiatives
Desirable Skills
- Familiarity with risk and compliance frameworks in a large corporate setting, ideally within a regulated industry
