Purpose
Your role will be to lead on the delivery of high-priority panel and matter pitches globally. You will take end-to-end ownership of the full lifecycle of the pitch, including: supporting client briefings; creating proposal documents; preparing teams for pitch presentations and gathering client feedback. You will work closely with Partners, lawyers, practice and sector BDM, and numerous other business teams to ensure that we deliver compelling value propositions and clear differentiators through visually impactful pitches.
Your key responsibilities
- Take ownership of high-priority panel and matter pitches at all stages of the pitch lifecycle.
- Create and execute customised strategies for each pitch based on client needs, our relationship with the client, competitor landscape, and the firm's capabilities and experience.
- Lead the pitch process efficiently and effectively. Manage pitch timelines, ensuring that all stakeholders meet internal deadlines and client deliverables are completed on time.
- Manage and collaborate with stakeholders from across the firm as appropriate to shape the pitch strategy, source content and ensure visibility.
- Draft new content for pitches where base content and/or precedent pitches are not available. Tailor and edit existing content to ensure that it is relevant and bespoke to the client and opportunity.
- Research and analyse prospective clients, competitor activities, and industry trends to inform pitch strategies.
- Support post-pitch debriefs, analyse pitch outcomes, and provide insights to improve future proposals and strategies.
Your experience
- Experience managing pitch processes in professional services, preferably in a legal environment.
- Strong project management and multi-tasking skills. Ability to manage multiple pitch timelines and deliverables.
- Proven track record of contributing to successful pitch strategies for client opportunities.
- Ability to quickly assimilate to a new pitch team, ways or working and process.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to engage with different functions and at all levels of seniority across the firm.
- Experience creating client-focused proposals that differentiate from competitors.
- Ability to conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform pitch strategies.
- Experience gathering client feedback relating to pitches and subsequently identifying opportunities to develop best practice and enact improvements.
- Collaborative approach with ability to guide and influence colleagues in pitch development.
Qualifications
- A degree in marketing, business, or a related field, with a preference for advanced leadership or marketing qualifications.

In this role, you will be supported by and collaborate closely with the local team and the broader BDM function. Our team thrives on a collegiate atmosphere with a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration with colleagues.
