Job Title: Strategic Regional Business Development and Referral Manager
Location: Across The Midlands and Wider Regions (excluding Leicester)
Employment Type: Full-time | Open to contractor model
Salary: £60,000 – £70,000 (DOE) + Commission + Performance Bonuses

As we enter a new phase of regional growth, we are seeking an outstanding Strategic Business Development Manager to diversify our commissioner base beyond Leicester City Council, reduce risk, and unlock growth through creative partnerships and sustainable placements. This role will help expand our service footprint beyond Leicester and support the development and stabilisation of key services and properties.
Role Purpose
This role combines external business development with internal service mobilisation. You will be responsible for building new commissioner relationships, generating complex care referrals, filling underutilised properties, and helping to stabilise existing services. The role will also contribute to shaping the operational structure as the organisation scales.
Key Responsibilities
Referral Generation and Strategic Growth
Service Development and Property Utilisation
· Lead service mobilisation and coordinate referral activity across key developments, including:
· The Grand – Immediately available: 9 self-contained flats, with the option to include an additional 3-bedroom house
· Alcester Road – Single-occupancy robust bungalow, expected to be ready by the end of October 2025
· Bodnant Avenue – 3 flats anticipated to be available by March 2026
· Future Developments – Support the planning and occupancy strategy for upcoming schemes as they become available, including:
o The Annex
o Uppingham Road Property
o Dupont Gardens
Operational Stability and Internal Coordination
Strategic Leadership and Future Planning
