We are looking for a Mid-Senior Consultant to join our Strategy Consulting Team. You will work with our growing international client base (UK/Europe/Asia) to help each of our clients deliver lasting change through smart revenue management. You will use your experience in consulting and/or consumer goods to bring thought leadership & deep client understanding to solve complex & strategic issues. You will work on a range of Revenue Management projects including pure consulting around pricing and promotion strategy, implementing our apps, and using their analytics to drive decision making. You will conduct change management and capability building both internally and externally with clients.
A day in the life will typically include:
Taking the role of ‘Lead Consultant’ on projects. This encompasses being responsible for leading project problem definition, requirements gathering, approach design, solution recommendations and senior wiring & influencing
* Defining the approach & delivering consulting projects (incl. client app implementations)
* Analysing client data to deliver actionable insights to enable our clients to do something differently in their business
* Managing multiple client consulting projects & implementations at the same time
* Winning client upsell & new business
* Developing compelling selling stories, presentations & proposals to share with prospects
* Delivering internal efficiencies through new technology & ways of working
* Travelling across the UK, Europe mainly to work with our top tier clients
You will leverage your rich background of work experience in a data-driven or strategic consulting role or experience in revenue management, sales or finance for a consumer brands company to deliver success for customers. You will have experience managing complex consulting projects and/or software implementations and you will be comfortable managing and influencing clients by speaking to senior stakeholders on a regular basis. We want someone who has a thirst for innovation & driving change, both internally & externally, who is not afraid to challenge the status quo. You will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, in a role with lots of variation.
Basic Qualifications
* FMCG market knowledge (desired) - Trade pricing structures / Promotional effectiveness methodology
* Strong conceptual and planning skills with ability to balance competing priorities to always deliver
* Strategic thinker with a ‘practical’/tactical perspective for execution
* Keen analytical skills and eye for details
* Creative thinker and solution provider - ‘can do’
* Able to work independently
* Ability to influence senior teams internally and externally to adopt a proposed course of action
* Excellent interpersonal skills - internally and externally
