Street Lighting Business and looking for dedicated
Street Lighting Installation Operatives to join our team.
What you'll be doing
As Part Of a Skilled Team, You’ll Support The Maintenance And Installation Of Street Lighting Columns, Signs, And Related Equipment. Your Day-to-day Will Include
- Installing, maintaining, and removing street lighting and signage.
- Excavating and reinstating road surfaces.
- Operating vehicles and plant (hoists, lorry loaders) and performing routine checks.
- Transporting goods, equipment, and personnel to and from sites.
- Assisting with traffic management and mechanical loading/unloading.
- Participating in out-of-hours emergency repairs when required.
- Performing physically demanding tasks in all weather conditions.
Who we're looking for
Essential
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
- Willingness to learn and attend training.
- Resilient attitude and ability to follow instructions.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all conditions.
Desirable (training Provided If Needed)
- 302.1 or 302.2 certification
- G39/1 210 – Working near DNO
- HIAB Slinger/Signaller
- Power tools training (Abrasive Wheel)
- NRSWA Operative
- Recognised HIAB/CPCS Training
- Street lighting experience
- Full UK driving licence (over 3.5t)
