This role sits within the Motor Pricing team and focuses on developing and delivering street (customer) prices for our Motor products – Car, Van and Tractor.
You’ll manage a small team of Analysts, providing coaching, mentoring, and technical guidance. You will be also responsible for recommending and managing street pricing strategies across your portfolio, ensuring independence from risk pricing is maintained throughout. This includes analysing internal and external data, utilising pricing models, and collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders including those in Data, Modelling, Risk Pricing, Underwriting, Distribution, Claims, and Finance divisions.

About you:
You are a commercially minded and customer oriented Pricing professional with strong experience in the GI sector and a proven track record of delivering robust, data driven pricing recommendations. Technical skills required:
It will also be highly advantageous if you can demonstrate experience within Price Optimisation, Underwriting and/or running & owning an account.
You’ll also have a strong problem solving mindset, and an inquisitive and analytical approach matched with the ability to present technical information to nontechnical audiences.
Becoming an effective communicator, with excellent stakeholder management will also be key, showcasing resilience under pressure, and maintaining accuracy and sound judgement.
As this position is a management role, you’ll also need to demonstrate experience of leading a team, or coaching / mentoring more junior employees.
