Balfour Beatty has an exciting opportunity for a Structures Ganger to join our Living Places team, working across Lincolnshire.

What you'll be doing

As a Structures Ganger, you’ll lead a team delivering a wide variety of works, including:

  • Deep excavations, piling, and shoring installations
  • Concrete works – formwork, falsework, repairs, and pours
  • Kerb laying, parapet fencing, drainage, chambers, ducting, and footway improvements
  • Asphalt laying and compaction
  • Vegetation clearance and vacuum excavation
  • Supporting emergency and winter service provision

You’ll ensure that all works are carried out safely, to a high standard, on time and within budget, while acting as a key representative of Balfour Beatty with clients and stakeholders.

Who we're looking for

Essential

  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong focus on health & safety
  • Integrity, pride in work, and reliability
  • Flexibility to work overtime or shifts when required

Desirable

  • EUSR Levels 2–5 in excavation
  • Confined Space Training
  • Highway Maintenance, Groundworks or Construction experience
  • LGV Class 1 or 2 licence
  • NRSWA Training / CSCS Highway Maintenance
  • CPC, NVQ Winter Service, Telehandler training
  • Vacuum excavation experience
