About the role

We are looking for an exceptional marketer to lead the development and execution of our student recruitment strategy for the Faculty of Education’s portfolio of programmes. Your expertise and creativity will be instrumental in developing effective and engaging student recruitment campaigns to influence a diverse audience, as well as raising the profile of the Faculty of Education and the RAD.

We are looking for someone who has:

• A proven track record in a student recruitment environment with demonstrable experience of developing strategic marketing plans and successful marketing campaigns; within a higher education organisation
• Experience and knowledge of digital marketing including social media, SEO, email and online marketing
• Exceptional written communication skills in English, including the ability to write engaging copy appropriate for various media platforms
• An understanding of the recruitment processes within higher education
• Sound interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders
• Excellent organisation and project management skills

Shortlisted applicants will be required to undertake a skills test prior to the interview.

Due to the nature of the RAD’s work, the successful candidate will be required to have an Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service. Applications which do not include a full employment history and reference details will not be taken forward to the shortlisting stage.

The post you are applying for is classed as having a high degree of contact with children and involves ‘regulated activity’. As such it is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
