Studio Assistant (Maternity Cover)
A busy and fast-paced creative studio is seeking a highly organised and proactive Studio Assistant to join the team on a maternity cover contract. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys supporting both day-to-day operations and senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate UK and international travel, including visa and documentation support
- Manage calendars and diaries for senior staff and the wider team
- Provide first-line IT support and liaise with external tech providers
- Oversee software renewals and general system maintenance
- Act as the first point of contact at reception—welcoming guests and handling calls, deliveries, and couriers
- Open and close the studio daily
- Organise team lunches, meetings, workshops, and internal events
- Maintain communal areas and ensure they are clean, stocked, and presentable
- Manage office supplies and liaise with maintenance providers
- Maintain filing systems, databases, and inventory records
- Support finance tasks such as invoicing, expense logging, and credit card reconciliation
- Track staff annual leave and time-off records
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in an administrative, studio, or office coordination role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong multitasking and time management abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with InDesign and QuickBooks is a plus
- Highly organised, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Discreet and professional when handling confidential information
