Job Description
At NEXT, we have an exciting opportunity for a Studio Scheduler to join our Photo Studio team, based at ‘BUZZ’ our home interiors studio in Leighton Buzzard Studio, offering a salary from £29,668. This role is vital to the smooth and efficient running of our studio operations, coordinating all aspects of scheduling across our Home shoots.
About the Role:
You will take ownership of the end-to-end asset production lifecycle, ensuring assets are delivered timely and accurately. You are primarily responsible for chasing samples to meet crucial production deadlines and confirming that final photography assets are correctly tagged in the DAM system and delivered online, maintaining strict alignment with creative and commercial briefs.
You will play a central role in studio coordination and scheduling. This involves collaborating closely with Next Home Managers and Brand stakeholders to schedule shoots across all categories, ensuring production timelines are synchronised with wider business objectives. Furthermore, you will work directly with the Graphics Team to coordinate timelines for key outputs, such as the Furniture and Sofa Guides.
You are responsible for maintaining organisational integrity and communication. This includes managing the master shoot schedule, monitoring daily and weekly calendars to maximise efficiency, and regularly updating all planning and asset trackers to reflect current project status. You must initiate and maintain clear communication with both internal product teams and external brand partners regarding asset requirements, shoot timing, and delivery expectations.
Finally, you will take ownership of proactive risk management and administrative support. You are expected to promptly identify and communicate any roadblocks or delays to all relevant stakeholders. This role requires providing administrative and planning support to the Studio Planning Lead as required, and championing a detail-oriented approach focused on continually improving scheduling workflows.
About You:
- Proven experience in a similar scheduling, studio coordination, or production planning role.
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail; you love a good tracker and know how to keep multiple plates spinning.
- Experience working to tight timelines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills — confident in chasing samples or following up on missed deadlines while keeping relationships positive.
- Comfortable using project planning tools like Asana, and systems like, DAM, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Forward-thinking and proactive — always planning ahead and solving problems before they arise. You love a spreadsheet!
- Calm under pressure, adaptable to change, and able to juggle multiple shoots or campaigns at once.
- A collaborative mindset — you’ll be working with everyone from stylists to planners to external brand partners.
