🎓 Subject Lead, FdA Programmes (Business & Hospitality)

📍 Location: London

💰 Salary: £45,000 – £55,000

🗓 Start Date: 1st September 2025

📅 Working Arrangement: Mon–Thu on-site, Fri remote (WFH)

I'm currently supporting a dynamic and growing higher education institution in London that’s looking to appoint multiple Subject Leads for their Foundation Degree (FdA) programmes in Business, Hospitality, and related areas.

This leadership role is ideal for experienced higher education professionals who are passionate about curriculum development, academic quality, and enhancing student experience - particularly those with an understanding of Foundation Degrees and inclusive education for diverse student cohorts.

💡 The role includes:

✔ Leading and delivering modules at Levels 4–5

✔ Overseeing curriculum planning, assessment, and academic quality

✔ Supporting students through academic and pastoral care

✔ Developing course materials and managing teaching resources

✔ Engaging with industry to enhance employability and subject relevance

✔ Driving innovation and collaboration across the programme

🔍 We're looking for:

✔ A relevant BA and postgraduate qualification

✔ Teaching qualification (or willingness to obtain one)

✔ Experience teaching and assessing in HE

✔ Strong organisational, leadership, and curriculum design skills

✔ Passion for widening participation and student progression
