About This Internship

The Channel 4 Access Services Internships, developed in collaboration with Red Bee Media, a leading international broadcasting and media services company and the largest access services provider in Europe, present an exciting opportunity for entry-level individuals with a passion for television and a desire to help ensure it is accessible to all.

We are proud to announce the return of our 12-month paid placements in subtitling, audio description scripting, and working as a signing assistant, commencing in September 2025. As an intern, you will undergo comprehensive training, and no prior work experience or specific qualifications are necessary; we seek individuals with a genuine love for television and boundless enthusiasm.

Our initiative aims to provide opportunities to individuals currently underrepresented in the TV industry. We encourage applications from disabled individuals, those from Black, Asian, or minority ethnic backgrounds, and individuals from lower socio-economic groups residing or working in the specified locations.

Applicants must be 18 years or older at the scheme's commencement in September 2025, and not currently employed by either Channel 4 or Red Bee Media. There is no upper age limit. While a degree is not mandatory, education must be completed at the start of the full-time opportunity.
