Overview
Our leading Competition & Antitrust practice advises clients on the full spectrum of competition and antitrust matters – we work on some of the largest cartel investigations, transactions and competition litigation cases. We also assist clients facing antitrust issues, including relating to abuse of dominance, commercial agreements / arrangements and compliance advice.
The London team focus on UK work – CMA and NSIA matters and competition litigation in the CAT or High Court. We also work on EU and cross-border matters, often jointly with our international colleagues.
The Role
We are seeking a talented and hard working Supervising Associate with between 3-6 years’ PQE with a specific focus on UK and EU Competition law, and ideally experience of investigations, merger control and FDI, advisory / behavioural advice and competition litigation.
You will have exposure to high quality work covering the following areas:
- investigations and complaints, including cartel work
- compliance, including advice on compliance programmes
- merger control and joint ventures
- antitrust/competition
- advising on commercial agreements
- competition litigation
- advisory work including on abuse of dominance
What We’re Looking For
- Strong academic background.
- 3-6 years’ post-qualification experience in UK and EU Competition law gained at a leading competition practice.
- Experience and/or interest in competition litigation is highly desirable.
- A strong client focus, with the ability and enthusiasm to engage in marketing and business development activities.
- A commercially driven mindset.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, with a willingness to assist in the management and development of junior team members.
