RSK Biocensus, part of the

Supplier Admin to join the team, The
Supplier Administrator will be part of the Resourcing team, who are responsible for the resourcing of projects – utilising a combination of our internal ecology team and subcontractor (subbie) network. The primary focus of the role is to maintain the supplier data that we need to be able to do this ensuring that it is current and accurate.
In this role, you will work mainly with the Central Services Team (CST) to provide. You will be involved in wide ranging work across renewable energy, rail, highways, water infrastructure, housing and much more. CST is a friendly and hard-working team with a strong team ethos; we successfully navigate the challenges of home-based and hybrid working and are supported both by our senior management team and our dedicated project teams.
Main Responsibilities
- Communicating with subbies in a friendly, professional manner both on the phone and via email
- Managing and maintaining our subbie records ensuring they are current and accurate
- Providing a high level of service to our subbies so we are their client of choice. This will include supporting them through their time with us, from onboarding through to project completion
- Keeping accurate records of all communications with current and potential subbies, including maintaining a communications log
- Supporting the provision of subbie related information and data to the wider business
- Ensuring that RSK Biocensus internal processes adhere to wider group policy
- Supporting the Senior Supplier Administrator in the preparation of management reports based on subbie data
- Working alongside the Senior Supplier Administrator to take good care of our subbie and build strong relationships with them
- Supporting the development of our subbie database to make the process more efficient
- Working collaboratively with other areas of the Central Services Team to provide a holistic support service
Person Specification
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (especially on the phone)
- Very strong administrative background
- Friendly and approachable, with a willingness to learn
- High standard of literacy and numeracy
- Excellent organisational skills and precise attention to detail and enjoys this type of “routine” administrative activity
- The ability to run and manage the routine processes with minimal supervision to ensure that supplier data is robust
- The people skills required to work with and support subbies and the in-house team, who will build good relationships with our subbies (so we are the subbies’ consultancy of choice when agreeing to work)
- A high standard of IT skills – including the Microsoft Office suite (essential)
- Able to use their own initiative and problem solve
- Able to work with a variety of people at all levels of the business, inside and outside of the immediate team
- Flexible attitude and willingness to work in other areas of the team when support is needed

- £26,000 - £28,000 DOE
