Supplier Development Engineer

A leading provider of diesel and gas engines have an exciting opportunity in their automotive division.

Seeking a talented Supplier Development Engineer to join the Industrial Power Systems Division in Stafford. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in supplier quality management, including conducting audits, implementing quality assurance plans, and driving process enhancements. Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills are essential, along with a solid understanding of manufacturing standards, the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), and supplier evaluation methods.

Supplier Quality Management

• Conducting inspections, audits, and quality assessments
• Monitoring defect rates and driving improvements

Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)

• Deep understanding of PPAP elements and documentation
• Ensuring supplier compliance with customer standards

Manufacturing Standards & Compliance

• Knowledge of industry and organizational manufacturing policies
• Ensuring adherence through audits and process controls

Supplier Evaluation & Certification

• Assessing supplier capabilities and performance
• Designing and executing evaluation frameworks
