Description
We are seeking a dedicated Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. In this role, you will be responsible for managing new inquiries, ensuring they are processed efficiently and within established KPIs. You will leverage the most effective, compliant, and cost-efficient supplier options to meet our operational needs. Additionally, you will play a key part in maintaining and strengthening relationships between the company and its suppliers, ensuring that customer requirements are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing incoming enquiries from both sales team, account management and direct from customer.
- Sourcing suppliers for enquiries that can meet the service requirements.
- Managing our supplier base to ensure compliance, best value, service excellence and KPIs are met.
- Developing supply base to increase competition and build coverage.
- Deliver customer service excellence to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Build strong rapport with suppliers to ensure a good working relationship is maintained.
- Conduct desktop supplier auditing.
- Ensure suppliers are conforming with waste regulations and compliance systems are maintained.
- Report on supplier performance.
- Improve financial performance through negotiation and other tools including volume discounts.
- Management of our brokerage system ensuring rate cards and area coverage are up to date.
- Conduct outbound proactive supplier and customer calls.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Experience of working within a target driven environment and an understanding of CRM would be beneficial.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong telephone manner.
- Excellent numerical skills.

- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to instantly build a rapport with a wide variety of people.
- Well organised and self-disciplined with the ability to work quickly and calmly under pressure.
