We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Supply Chain Manager to lead and deliver a high-quality, efficient, and cost-effective materials management service across our three main hospital sites.
This on-site role requires regular weekly travel between Frimley Park, Wexham Park, and Heatherwood Hospitals.
As part of our Supply Chain function, you’ll be pivotal in ensuring the smooth delivery of clinical and non-clinical supplies to support outstanding patient care across all departments.
Main duties of the job
As a key member of our team, your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the Supply Chain and Materials Management teams across the Trust, ensuring service excellence and best practice.
- Overseeing the operation, development and continuous improvement of our inventory management system, maximising its efficiency and value.
- Driving performance to meet service standards and objectives, managing supply chain projects in line with the Trust’s procurement strategy.
- Developing innovative supply chain initiatives to enhance processes, reduce waste, and deliver long-term value for money.
- Establishing and nurturing strong relationships with clinical departments, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Acting as a subject matter expert in supply chain operations, providing leadership, expertise and guidance to your team.
- Ensuring full compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and NHS guidelines.
- Solving complex challenges and making informed, strategic decisions to improve service delivery.
