Job Title: Supply Chain Operative
Location: Falmer (Hybrid – 1 day office / 4 days WFH)
Salary: £35,000+ (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time (37 hours per week)

Key Purpose
We’re looking for an organised and proactive individual to join our Field Services Desk team. You’ll play a vital role in supporting our field teams by placing, tracking, and expediting orders for fittings, materials, and equipment. Ensuring they’re delivered efficiently so that planned maintenance can go ahead as scheduled.
You’ll work closely with internal teams—including material planners, stock controllers, and offshore support—as well as liaising with suppliers to resolve issues and keep things moving. This role is a shared service covering multiple regions, so effective communication and teamwork are essential.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with data, and building relationships in a supply chain or logistics environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
Responsibility
- Receive and process orders for parts and materials via email, phone, or request systems
- Liaise with suppliers, offshore support, and stock management teams to raise, track, troubleshoot and expedite orders
- Monitor and report on performance metrics, producing dashboards and analysis using Excel
- Maintain standard operating procedures and support continuous improvement of Field Services Desk processes
What You’ll Need
Essential Skills & Knowledge
- Strong organisational and communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Competent in Microsoft Excel (basic to intermediate level)
- Familiarity with purchasing processes and order tracking
- Able to follow through on tasks and track progress across systems
Nice to Have
- Experience with Maximo or ServiceNow (or similar service management tools)
- Background in supply chain, logistics, or related industries
- Experience using ERP or purchasing systems (e.g. BAS, Purchasing Portal)
- Data-savvy graduates are welcome to apply
