Are you a dynamic and experienced Supply Chain Project Manager with a deep understanding of freight forwarding, logistics, and end-to-end supply chain operations?

Our client, a UK-leading retailer, is seeking a freight-savvy project manager to lead key supply chain initiatives and enhance operational performance across multiple supplier networks. This is a fantastic opportunity to drive impact in a fast-paced, nationally recognised retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead supply chain projects with a strong focus on freight forwarding and logistics optimisation
• Manage and improve the end-to-end supply chain process across suppliers, 3PLs, and internal stakeholders
• Identify bottlenecks, pain points, and inefficiencies throughout the supply chain
• Work closely with suppliers and logistics partners to develop, track, and implement resolutions to ongoing issues
• Deliver project milestones on time and within budget, reporting to senior stakeholders
• Support transformation efforts across freight, warehousing, and distribution

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in supply chain and logistics, ideally within retail or FMCG
• In-depth knowledge of freight forwarding, logistics providers, and global shipping processes
• Strong experience working with 3PLs, freight partners, and cross-functional supply chain teams
• Ability to identify root causes and deliver effective, pragmatic solutions
• Excellent stakeholder management, supplier engagement, and communication skills
• Experience managing projects outside IR35 desirable
