Job Overview
The post holder will be required to provide a comprehensive administration and service coordinator role to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the service on a daily basis, assisting the triumvirate to ensure key performance, quality and financial targets are met and the service is developed as per Directorate plans.
Main duties of the job
- Provide a full and comprehensive administration service for the Haematology & Oncology services, including line management of Patient Pathway Coordinators.
- Provide administrative support to projects taking place within the services.
- Review and optimise the admin structure and processes in the Haematology & Oncology departments to support key performance measures and comply with National and Trust targets.
- Ensure all staff are working towards the delivery of high quality care to patients.
- Ensure all staff are working to deadlines that contribute to national standards and patient experience measures for the service.
